My name is David Chatwood, and I have 13% body fat. This is not something I did on purpose, I actually wanted to gain weight and look like my buff trainer Mo Jacks. But my eating habits did not allow me to do so. The funny part is my trainer tells me he wants to look like me. So we both have body envy issues like everyone else, isn’t that comforting. The purpose of this on going article is to give you a glimpse of my eating habits, and mind state that got me to this point.
When I started working out with Mo Jacks I weighted 187 lbs. Today I weight 175 lbs. The funny thing is I did exactly what he wanted me to do. Which was lose a little weight and get stronger. Because he knew once I lost a little weight it would make my muscles pop even more. I guess that’s why the body builders drop weight so much. They want their veins popping out. My main intentions of working out was to gain weight and muscle because I didn’t really like being called skinny; not that fat is any better. I also want to be ready for whatever, because with Trump being our President, anything can happen. But even if my body was perfect, I’m sure I’d be annoyed if people called me Mr. Perfect. No matter what someone is always going to be calling you something. We must always remember people tend to want to bring you down when they think you’re up, but they also bring you up, when they think you’re down. (Too bad people never know what side of the scale you’re actually on, because we are so fake.) It’s almost as if we try to balance the self-esteem of other people to match our own.
The whole time I worked out with Mo Jacks, I watched my weight wither away but I wasn’t happy about it. I just went with it, instead of going against it. When it comes to your body you must listen to it, and go with the flow. I could have fought against it, and took a lot of supplements and weight gainers. But I know that when I stop, all that weight will fall off. I don’t like renting weight I want to own it, my mind state is all natural; it’s cheaper and healthier.
My eating habits would be the biggest culprit for me losing weight. About a year ago I stopped eating breakfast. I was a breakfast cooking fool, I ate well for breakfast. I’m talking scrambled eggs,
bacon, grits, pancakes, all that. I mostly stopped because I didn’t have time to cook it. When I got to my 30’s I transitioned to eating smoothies in the morning, bananas, strawberries, lemon, spinach, might throw some flax-seed or chia seeds in there depending on what I have. (flax-seed and chia seeds are the sh#%). So I guess I didn’t stop eating breakfast I just changed what I was eating for breakfast. The next thing I did was go Vegan…lol…no I didn’t actually. I’m still not vegan although I am close to it. But how can you be close to anything, I’d hate to be close to Heaven but end up in Hell. But whatever, we like to be close to things. All I really mean is I stopped eating as much meat as I used to. I also stopped cooking fried chicken as much. Stopped going to fast food places as much. I mainly started eating Fruits Vegetables and Salmon. For a while I was eating a lot of Tilapia because it was very cheap at Food City. Fish was the only meat I felt comfortable buying from them. Then I found out about “Fish Farms”. And suddenly I didn’t feel as confident in Tilapia anymore. So I switched over to Salmon, I also found out I should be buying wild caught Salmon instead of farmed Salmon as well. The whole point of eating the Fish was to get the nutrients, but if the fish isn’t in it’s natural habitat it will not get the nutrients you want from it.
I pretty much would eat fruit smoothie in the morning, and then dinner would be Salmon Asparagus and mashed potatoes . I work out 4-5 times a week for 1-2 hours. I always eat what I want. (I happen to want natural foods) I just don’t tend to want a lot. I also smoke a lot of weed, so it’s kind of odd that I’m not super hungry all the time. Almost as if the weed regulates my appetite. I would usually smoke half a blunt in the morning, and half a blunt at night. (maybe add another blunt at night some days). I don’t recommend weed, I am only being honest about my daily habits. Weed can make you so hungry that you pig out on a bunch of crap you don’t need.
At this point I’m working out and eating a lot of fish, and fat is literally running off of my body. Then I saw the news and for once they actually said some news worthy stuff. They told me about 2 ingredients I had just started using in my cooking that helped burn fat. And it clicked to me why it was so hard for me to gain weight. I will talk about those ingredients in my next article. Please leave a comment about what helps you gain or lose weight, and stay tuned for some ingredients that are tasty as hell on your food and help you lose weight the “Wavy Way”.
